On April 3, 2007 the conference Solutions of Domestic Producers for Retail Banking Market took place in Minsk, Belarus. IBA participated in the event as its General Partner.

Pavel Kallaur, Vice Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus and Gennady Svidersky, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, greeted the participants of the event. Vladimir Basko, Chairman of the Infopark Board and Felix Cherniavsky, Chairman of the Association of Belarusian Banks spoke on behalf of the organizers of the conference.

At the plenary session, Pavel Kallaur presented the policy of the National Bank in retail banking. Participants of the conference, including Nikolay Strukov, Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, commented on the implementation of the state program of development of technical infrastructure to support the use of banking plastic cards in Belarus for the years 2006–2010, and on other pressing issues of IT solutions' implementation in the retail banking sector. Sergei Levteev, IBA CEO, spoke about the problems and development of retail banking market in Belarus.

More than 300 representatives of Belarusian banks and Ministries, IT companies and production enterprises, including MPOVT, Integral, CNIITU, System Technologies and SoftClub attended the event.

At the IBA booth, the participants had an opportunity to learn more about IBA self–service equipment and IT solutions for the retail banking sector.
