On December 10, the results of the 1^st competition among young programmers in applied programming were announced. The event was organized by the scientific and technological association Infopark, IBA being the primary sponsor of the contest.

Thirty–eight young programmers participated in the competition final.

The winners were chosen in the four categories:

C# — Denis Tarletsky, Igor Khrol, Stanislav Rudakov

С++ — Aleksey Tolstikov, Eugenie Gonchar, Roman Vorobets

Java — Alexander Antonik, Dmitry Razmyslovitch, Konstantin Tereshko

Pascal — Aleksey Sikorsky, Ivan Metelsky, Pavel Nigerish

The winners were awarded diplomas and prizes at the awarding ceremony that was held in the Belarusian State University. Other participants received certificates of competition finalists and special gifts.

The organizers of the event are satisfied with its results and consider it important to support talented young people and to conduct such competitions every year.
