From October 23 to October 24, a quarterfinal of the ACM International
Collegiate Programming Contest among university students
of the north–eastern European region (Baltic States, Belarus, Georgia and
Russia) will be held in Minsk. The contest is the most prestigious competition among young programmers. Since 1998, IBA has been sponsoring Belarusian student teams. In 2004, the team of the Belarusian State University (BSU) won gold medals at the 28th ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest held in Prague (Czech Republic).
Sergei Levteev, Infopark Council Chairman and IBA CEO, says: “IBA is happy to assist the Belarusian team in moving closer to the victory, and to ensure the highest technical level of the international event”.
