From the very moment of its foundation IBA supports various educational events for the youth, and sponsors participation of Belarusian teams in international competitions.

International Collegiate Programming Contest

On November 29, 2006 a semi–final competition among student teams of the North–Eastern Region for ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) was held in Saint–Petersburg. At the contest, Belarus was represented by the teams of the Belarusian State University (BSU), the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), and the Belarusian–Russian University. One of three BSU teams became the semi–final winner and will participate in the ACM ICPC World Finals along with other eleven teams. IBA is the Primary Sponsor of the Belarusian teams at all the stages.

7^th All–Russian Open Team Competition in Computer Science and Programming

IBA sponsorship made it possible for two teams of Minsk high school students to take part in the 7^th All–Russian Open Team Competition. The team of the school №41 won the third place. The Dean of the BSU Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science expressed his gratitude to IBA for sponsoring the Belarusian students' participation in the event.

1^st Competition in Applied Programming

IBA is also the Primary Sponsor of the competition conducted by the scientific and technological association Infopark. Fifty winners of the second round will participate in the Competition Cup Final.
