Near the Finish Line: IBA Group’s Odoo 17 CE ERP Project Set for Successful Completion
IBA Group announced that the implementation of an Odoo 17 CE ERP for WEIG, an international logistics provider, reached its final stage. WEIG launched the project in 2017 to establish a logistics corridor for transporting dry cargo from Central Asia to the Black Sea through Georgia.
The new system replaced paper-based workflows with a structured digital environment to reduce delays and improve accuracy in daily operations.
IBA Group worked with WEIG to transition from fragmented processes to an integrated business system. The project team addressed multiple challenges, including
- Documentation inconsistencies
- Lack of automation
- Disconnected systems
A modular approach introduced ERP functions in phases. The system now features
- DocFlow, Payroll, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Banking, and Tax Management
- Human Capital Management (HCM)
- Financial Management (FI)
- Maintenance
- Budgeting & Planning
Since the first modules went live, WEIG reported immediate improvements. Operations run faster, and inventory and financial transactions are easier to track. The replacement of paper-based processes with digital workflows accelerated task completion and reduced administrative workload. With automated processes and improved oversight, business activities are now more precise and efficient.
IBA Group continues to support WEIG with system monitoring and additional module rollouts.
